Keep your bike running smoothly or bring the old bike back to life. Tune-up includes cleaning and inspection of frame and components. Adjustment of hub bearings, headset, and bottom bracket. Spoke tensioning (truing) of wheels. Adjustment of brakes and shifting. Lubrication of necessary components (chain, cables, etc...), and checking of all fasteners for proper torque. Replacement of worn or broken parts is additional. (Cost of parts plus labor to install)

Brakes are important. Rubbing or worn brakes can adversely affect your bike's performance and safety. Properly adjusted brakes will increase the distance you can travel and the ease at which you can travel. 

Wheels can come out of "true" or develop a side-to-side motion during rotation. This can happen gradually or upon sudden impact and affect braking performance and wheel strength. It is good to have your spokes adjusted to both straighten and strengthen your wheels when this happens. With motor hub wheels, it is often more cost effective to re-build the motor onto a new rim/spokes than replacing the entire wheel. Driftwood can do this for you. Call for an estimate. 

Having your new E-bike or conventional bike professionally assembled is a good idea. Making sure that the parts are not only properly installed, but adjusted properly also, can make a world of difference in your bike's performance and longevity. Also, manufacturers like to know that a bike has been professionally assembled should a warranty or service issue occur.
